Effective date: July 25, 2026
Tampa Bay Training wants participants, clients and website visitors with disabilities to have meaningful access to our information, registration processes, courses, materials, communications and assessments.
We will work with the individual, client, host site and applicable credentialing organization to consider reasonable modifications, auxiliary aids, effective-communication support and accessible arrangements.
Contact Tampa Bay Training as soon as you know an accommodation may be needed. When possible, submitting a request at least 14 calendar days before class gives us more time to coordinate materials, technology, an interpreter, a venue change or provider approval. We will still consider later requests and respond as promptly as reasonably possible.

Tell us:
You do not need to provide unrelated medical details. When documentation is reasonably needed for a testing or credentialing accommodation, the request will be limited to information relevant to the accommodation.
Depending on the course, setting and individual need, arrangements may include:
The appropriate arrangement depends on the nature, length, complexity and purpose of the communication, course or assessment. Tampa Bay Training will not impose a surcharge for an accommodation we are required to provide.
Some examinations and credentialing requirements are controlled by another organization. Tampa Bay Training will help identify and route an accommodation request, but the external organization may require its own process and approval.
Accommodation decisions should allow the assessment to measure the intended knowledge or skill rather than the effects of a disability, unless the affected skill is itself what the assessment is designed to measure.
Submit testing requests early enough for review within the same testing cycle. Proof of a similar past accommodation may be relevant. We will not label a certificate or completion record to disclose that an accommodation was used.
For a private class at a client location, Tampa Bay Training and the host share planning responsibilities. The host should identify known barriers involving entrances, parking, routes, restrooms, seating, work areas, alarms and emergency procedures.
If the proposed site cannot provide access, we will discuss a reasonable alternate room, delivery method or other arrangement. The client should not place confidential disability or medical information on a general participant roster.
For live-online training, contact us if the standard camera, microphone, platform, participation or testing method creates a disability-related barrier. An alternate method must still allow identity, attendance, communication and course integrity requirements to be satisfied.
New Tampa Bay Training-developed self-paced programs planned for 2027 will be evaluated for keyboard use, heading structure, text alternatives, contrast, reflow, captions, transcripts, accessible assessments and help processes before launch.
Tampa Bay Training uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a working accessibility benchmark for new and revised web content. This is an ongoing improvement effort, not a claim that every page, plugin, embedded service or historical document has been independently certified as compliant.
If a webpage, form, PDF, video or third-party registration tool is difficult to use, contact us. Please include the page address, the problem and the format or assistance that would help. We will work to provide the information or service through an accessible method while addressing the underlying barrier.
Tampa Bay Training will follow applicable requirements concerning service animals and support persons. Host-facility rules may also apply. Contact us before class when advance coordination would help, but do not delay an urgent request merely because advance notice was not possible.
Accommodation information will be shared only with personnel or organizations that need it to evaluate or provide the requested access, or as otherwise required by law. Tampa Bay Training will not retaliate against a person for requesting access, raising a concern or participating in an accessibility review.
If you believe an accessibility request was not handled appropriately, email service@tampabaytraining.com with the course or service, date, requested accommodation, decision and requested resolution. A person not solely responsible for the initial decision should review the concern when practicable.
