Tampa Bay Training is committed to a learning environment that is safe, respectful, inclusive, practical and professionally useful. This policy applies to onsite, live-online and self-paced participants, as well as coaching sessions, examinations and course-related communications.
Participants are expected to:
Conduct that may result in intervention or removal includes:
Host-site safety, security and workplace rules also apply when they are lawful and communicated to participants.
Participants must submit their own work and complete their own examinations. Unless the instructor expressly authorizes collaboration or outside tools, participants may not:
When an instructor permits artificial-intelligence assistance, the participant must follow the stated limits, verify the work, disclose material use when requested and remain responsible for accuracy and originality.
Real workplace examples make training more useful, but participants should not disclose protected personal information, security-sensitive details, attorney-client material, confidential procurement information, trade secrets or information they are not authorized to share.
Tampa Bay Training may ask participants to remove identifying details from scenarios and assignments. A class discussion should not be treated as a confidential legal, medical or privileged consultation.
Participants may not record or photograph a class, instructor, participant, examination, slide, chat or course material without advance permission. Tampa Bay Training will provide notice and obtain any required consent before using an identifiable participant's image, voice, work or testimonial for marketing.
A participant must be able to participate safely in the assigned activity. The instructor may modify, pause or stop an activity and may remove a participant when conduct, impairment, equipment or conditions create an immediate concern.
A participant should request an accommodation rather than attempt an unsafe activity. See Accessibility & Accommodation Requests.
Depending on seriousness and provider requirements, Tampa Bay Training may:
When immediate safety is not involved, Tampa Bay Training should give the participant a reasonable opportunity to respond before a final adverse completion decision.
A participant, client, host or staff member may submit a good-faith complaint about instruction, safety, accessibility, conduct, discrimination, assessment administration or customer service.
Email service@tampabaytraining.com and include the course, date, people involved, what occurred, available documentation and requested resolution. Report an immediate safety threat to onsite personnel or emergency services first.
Tampa Bay Training will acknowledge a written complaint and identify the next step, normally within five business days. Confidentiality will be respected to the extent reasonably possible, but information may need to be shared to investigate, respond, protect safety or satisfy a provider or legal requirement.
A participant may appeal a Tampa Bay Training completion, testing-integrity or conduct decision within 10 business days. The written appeal should identify the decision, reason for disagreement and supporting information.
A person not solely responsible for the initial decision should review the appeal when practicable. Tampa Bay Training will normally provide a written result or next step within 10 business days. External provider or government-program decisions must follow that organization's appeal process.
Tampa Bay Training prohibits retaliation for requesting an accommodation, reporting a good-faith concern, participating in a review or opposing conduct reasonably believed to violate this policy.
