Framework last updated: July 26, 2026
Tampa Bay Training may offer selected self-paced courses through TampaBayTrainingOnline.com or an identified third-party course platform. Availability, price, access duration, certificate issuer, completion requirements and technical features vary by course.
Academy development status: The Tampa Bay Training Supervision, Management & Leadership Academy is currently in development and is planned for 2027. It is not presently available for purchase or enrollment.
Before payment, the course page or checkout should identify:
The terms displayed and accepted for the specific purchase control when they differ from this general framework.
Access is licensed to the registered participant and may not be shared, transferred, resold or used to complete work for another person. Participants must protect passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
An employer purchasing access for multiple employees should use the approved organizational enrollment process rather than sharing a single account.
Access duration varies by course. Expiration should be disclosed before purchase and shown in the learner account when the platform supports it.
For the planned Supervision, Management & Leadership Academy, each level is designed to provide one year of access from the participant's level-registration date. The participant is responsible for staying active, scheduling included coaching and completing work before access expires.
Tampa Bay Training should send reasonable reminder notices before expiration, but failure to receive a reminder does not automatically extend access. Extension terms, if offered, will be stated for the course.
Participants generally need:
Do not assume a course is fully usable on a smartphone or tablet unless the course page expressly confirms mobile support. Employer security controls may block required features.
Completion requirements depend on the course and may include:
Merely opening modules or allowing a video to run does not establish completion when the course requires engagement, assessment or submitted work.
Each planned Academy level—Supervision, Management and Leadership—is designed as approximately 60 hours of guided online learning. The planned requirements include:
A participant planning to complete the full Academy should begin with Supervision, continue to Management and finish with Leadership. Completing a level results in a Tampa Bay Training certificate for that level. Completing all three results in an additional Tampa Bay Training Academy certificate.
The Academy does not provide college credit, an academic degree, a professional license or a regulated certification.
When live coaching is included, the course page should identify the amount, scheduling process, expiration and no-show terms. Coaching time is intended for course-related questions, application and planning; it is not unlimited consulting or a substitute for legal, medical, engineering, human-resources or other licensed professional advice.
Additional coaching, facilitation or consulting requires a separate scope and fee.
A recommended field visit, observation or workplace exploration is normally completed independently unless Tampa Bay Training expressly agrees to supervise it. Participants must obtain employer or site permission, follow safety and confidentiality rules and avoid entering restricted locations or performing unauthorized work.
Participants must complete their own work and follow the Learner Conduct & Academic Integrity Policy. Unauthorized answer sharing, impersonation, account sharing, plagiarism or undisclosed prohibited artificial-intelligence use may result in an invalid assessment, withheld certificate or loss of access.
Tampa Bay Training will evaluate self-paced content for keyboard access, headings, alternative text, contrast, reflow, captions, transcripts, accessible documents and understandable assessments. A platform or third-party course may have limitations that require an alternate arrangement.
Contact us if you encounter a barrier or need an accommodation. See Accessibility & Accommodation Requests.
A certificate is issued only after all applicable completion requirements are satisfied. The course page will identify whether the certificate comes from Tampa Bay Training or another organization and whether it has an expiration or recommended renewal period.
See Certificates, Training Records & Continuing Education.
A final self-paced refund rule must be shown before purchase. It should address access activation, percentage completed, downloaded resources, consumed coaching, issued certificates and third-party provider charges.
Until a course displays and incorporates approved self-paced refund terms, do not accept payment for that course. See the Refund, Cancellation & Class-Exchange Policy.
Tampa Bay Training may update content to correct errors, improve accessibility or reflect changed standards. A material change should not remove the core value of an existing paid enrollment without an appropriate alternative.
If Tampa Bay Training discontinues a program before an enrolled participant's access period ends, it should provide a reasonable teach-out period, comparable alternative or appropriate refund based on the circumstances and amount of undelivered service.
Planned maintenance and unexpected outages do not automatically extend access, but Tampa Bay Training should provide a reasonable extension when a material platform outage prevents completion near an expiration date.
Self-paced platforms may collect account, progress, assessment, coaching and technical data. The Privacy Policy and the identified platform's privacy notice apply.
