Apply for a higher learning scholarship by Feb. 15

Fuel your academic dreams by applying for a Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship. Applications for the competitive program offering up to $10,000 per recipient for the 2023-24 academic year are due by Feb. 15. The Foundation offers the children and spouses of workers killed or permanently disabled in a work zone incident the opportunity to continue pursuing their academic dreams beyond high school.

The Chuck Bailey Memorial Scholarship offers an additional $1,000 for eligible applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to volunteerism. The program honors Chuck Bailey, who passed away in June 2002. Bailey was a member of the Ohio ATSSA Chapter, and not only worked tirelessly to get Congress to approve funding dedicated for roadway safety projects, but also was quick to share his knowledge, contacts and time.
