NPDES Annual Overview & Update Training Onsite

Tampa Bay Training is proud to be recognized by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) as Instructor #15 and Inspector #303, affirming our commitment to delivering high-quality, certified training across the state.
The FSESCI Program, developed by the Water Quality Restoration Program, is a comprehensive training and certification initiative designed to prepare professionals to conduct stormwater inspections on construction and development sites throughout Florida.
This program focuses on:
✅ Proper selection, installation, and maintenance of Best Management Practices (BMPs)
✅ Inspection techniques for BMPs during and after construction
✅ Minimizing onsite and offsite impacts from erosion, sedimentation, and polluted discharges
The FSESCI course is a two-day interactive class based on the Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector’s Manual. Upon completion, participants take a 1-hour proctored exam, requiring a minimum score of 70% to earn the FSESCI Qualified Inspector Certificate.
This certification enables professionals to perform stormwater inspections in compliance with the NPDES Construction Generic Permit (CGP) requirements.
Led by Pete Cavalli, MPA, Tampa Bay Training brings deep expertise in the NPDES program, dating back to its implementation in Florida by the EPA in 2000. Our team has contributed to:
