Coaching Systems Forklift Operations (4 hour) (ONSITE)

The Coaching Systems Forklift Operations course aims to instruct forklift drivers in the safe operation of forklifts and various other powered industrial trucks.

The course delivers essential knowledge to fulfill the latest OSHA standards for practical training, formal instruction, and evaluation. It features instructor-led discussions, the Coaching Systems’ Coaching the Lift Truck Operator 3 video, a 10-question true/false video assessment, a 30-question true/false exam, a guided and evaluated pre-trip inspection, and a practical assessment.

Participants will receive a workbook to keep.

Human Resources or Management will receive a package that includes a summary assessment, a copy of the video assessment, the exam, and the practical assessment.

The video presentation is included for on-site personnel who do not operate forklifts or similar equipment but work in an environment where they are operated.

It is important to note that the Coaching Systems’ Coaching the Lift Truck Operator 3 class is conducted in person by a qualified instructor.

Overview

• Review OSHA safety requirements
• Reduction and prevention of collisions
• Liability protection and risk management
• Classroom presentation including video, follow up questions, situational diagram analysis, and group discussions.
• Each student will use a response book provided by the instructor to write down answers to questions and analyze different situations to participate in group discussions.
• Upon completion of the course each student will receive a certificate of completion as well as a wallet card endorsed by the instructor who trained and evaluated.
