Construction Math is a class that can be designed and tailored to your needs in the public works, utilities, construction and engineering fields.
This class is usually limited to a 2-4 hour class and can be designed to be a series starting with basic math skills and concepts, moves to an intermediate-level class that focuses on the application of the skills and concepts learned in the basic class, and an advanced level class that delves further into the skills and concepts.
Travel charges may apply based on zip code.
This class entitled Construction Math focuses on the basics of math. We find that it is best to start with the basics. This is due to the fact that employees often have wildly different levels of math proficiency. Therefore, we start with orders of operations, concepts of adding/subtracting/multiplication/division, decimals, and percentages. We then move to concepts such as length, area, volume, and application rates. The class’s focus then moves to applying the concepts mentioned above.
Tampa Bay Training can then add a future intermediate and advanced level class to work as a series to develop your field staffs.
