This course covers 11 items required by regulation, including alcohol and drug prohibitions, types of testing required, testing procedures, consequences of violating prohibitions, and consequences of alcohol and drug abuse. Also updated to include information about the DOT’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse effective January 6, 2020. After completing this alcohol and drug testing training, learners will be able to: describe the alcohol and drug prohibitions that apply to CMV operators Identify the types of test drivers expected in various situations, identify and explain procedures for alcohol and drug testing. The consequences of violations, recognize prohibitions, the effects of alcohol and substance abuse and how they affect driving ability.

The Successful Student will receive a certificate of completion and wallet card from JJ Keller.
