NPDES Annual Overview

This course provides an annual overview of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. Participants will learn about regulatory updates, compliance requirements, and best practices related to water quality management. Topics include permit renewals, monitoring and reporting, stormwater management, and case studies.

$50 - $125/person

  1. Regulatory Definitions:
    • Clarification of terms such as “new discharger” and definitions related to pesticide discharge resulting from pesticide application.
  2. Permit Applications:
    • Guidance on submitting complete permit applications.
    • Modernization of NPDES regulations.
  3. Public Notice:
    • Understanding public notice requirements for permitting actions.
  4. Contact Information and Web Addresses:
    • Updates to EPA contact information and electronic databases.
    • Removal of outdated references.

Scheduling

The class is conducted in-person at your specified location, provided there is a minimum of five participants registered. A travel fee may apply, depending on zip code.
