The GI-BMP in-person training has FDACS approval for 2 Core CEUs (482 and 487) and 2 additional CEUs for the following licenses:
Currently, the GI-BMP in-person training provides two (2) Limited Urban Fertilizer credit hours. Additional training programs in this category are needed. “Florida law mandates a GI-BMP training certificate for fertilizer applicators to obtain their Limited Fertilizer Applicator Certification (LF license). The certificate is also beneficial for lawn-care, landscape, and pest control workers, landscape designers, government employees, property managers, and more.
The GI-BMP training promotes science-based, environmentally friendly landscaping practices that contribute to the conservation and protection of Florida’s water resources.
Participants must achieve a passing score (75%) to receive a Training Certificate. Both in-person and Zoom classes provide CEUs for FDACS pesticide and fertilizer licenses.”
