Participants may include:
No previous medical experience is required.
Adult-only certification is the most common selection. Adult, child and infant options are available based on the participants' responsibilities and the organization's requirements.
Tampa Bay Training can also provide CPR/AED-only or First Aid-only training by request. These options remain $90 per participant.
Before registration, confirm the certification required by the participant's employer, licensing body, contract, insurer or workplace policy. If a regulated childcare or other role requires a specific pediatric program, contact Cindy so Tampa Bay Training can verify the appropriate course before scheduling.
Depending on the selected certification option, course content includes:
Scenarios and examples may be discussed in relation to the group's work while preserving the applicable HSI curriculum and certification requirements.
This is an instructor-led, hands-on course. Participants receive instruction, practice with training equipment, take part in scenarios and demonstrate required skills.

This course is not offered by Tampa Bay Training as live online, blended or self-paced certification training.
The exact schedule depends on the selected adult, child and infant certification options and the amount of practice required. The $90 per-participant rate covers the selected course configuration for up to one eight-hour training day.
For private training, the organization is billed for at least seven participants even when fewer than seven attend. The maximum is 20 participants. Tampa Bay Training adjusts instructor staffing and training equipment to the class size and may assign two instructors.
Travel or unusual facility requirements may affect a private-training quote. Cindy confirms the schedule, participant count, course options, location and complete price before the class is booked.
The host provides:
The space should allow participants and instructors to move safely between classroom instruction and floor-level skill stations.
Tampa Bay Training provides:
Tampa Bay Training can bring a suitable display or projector when the host does not have one, if arranged before the class.
Participants who meet the selected course's attendance, examination and skill-performance requirements receive a two-year HSI certification.
Digital certification is issued by default. A paper certification card must be requested at registration because it must be ordered in advance.
The employer or participant is responsible for confirming that the selected certification meets any job, licensing, contract, insurer or regulatory requirement.
Most CPR, AED and First Aid classes are private and conducted at the client's facility. Private delivery helps an organization train employees together and coordinate the certification options with its operational needs.
Private billing minimum: Seven participants
Maximum class size: 20 participants

Individuals and smaller groups may register when a client or host makes seats available in an onsite class. Public classes are limited and are not continuously scheduled.
