Conflict Resolution for Supervisors and Teams

Address Disagreement Before It Becomes Avoidable Damage

Conflict is not automatically harmful. Differences in priorities, information, roles and perspectives can improve decisions when handled constructively. Unaddressed or poorly managed conflict can damage trust, safety, service and performance.

This course gives supervisors and team members a structured way to understand conflict, communicate and work toward appropriate resolution.

Participants receive a Tampa Bay Training certificate showing the instructional hours.

Training Versus Active Conflict Intervention

This course teaches conflict-resolution knowledge and skills. It does not resolve a current dispute, investigate allegations, determine facts or replace the employer's HR, legal, labor-relations or disciplinary process.

Mediation, facilitation, conflict assessment or coaching for an active situation requires a separate scope, suitability review and quote.

Live Online Participation

Live online participants must use a desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection and working camera, microphone and speakers. Mobile phones are not accepted as the primary device. Each participant must remain visible and engaged and complete their own activities and knowledge check.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can employees involved in an active conflict attend together?

Possibly, but training should not be used as a substitute for an appropriate management, HR, investigation or mediation process. Discuss the circumstances with TBT before scheduling.

Is this the same as mediation?

No. The course teaches resolution skills. Mediation is a separate facilitated process.

Can examples be customized?

Yes, using appropriately anonymized situations and client procedures.
