Professionalism is demonstrated through daily decisions, communication, competence, accountability and stewardship. In public service and infrastructure work, those behaviors affect employees, clients, contractors, residents and public trust.
This course helps participants apply ethical principles to realistic workplace situations without reducing ethics to a list of slogans.
Four-hour version: $125 per participant

Knowledge check: 20–25 multiple-choice questions; 70% required

Client-specific policies or professional codes may be incorporated when provided in advance.
Participants must attend, participate, complete an ethical decision-making activity and earn at least 70% on the knowledge check.
Successful participants receive a Tampa Bay Training certificate showing four or eight instructional hours.
This course provides education and discussion. It does not provide legal advice, determine whether a law or professional code was violated or replace guidance from an ethics officer, attorney, licensing board or other authorized official.
Live online participants must use a desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection and working camera, microphone and speakers. Mobile phones are not accepted as the primary device. Each participant must remain visible and engaged and complete their own activities and knowledge check.
