Project Management Training – A Quick Look Onsite

This awareness-level course introduces the foundational concepts and tools of project management through a collaborative and engaging format. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively.

Topics include:

Interactive exercises and a short quiz to reinforce learning 

Core project management principles and terminology

Tools such as Gantt charts, timelines, and Monday.com

Real-world applications and challenges

Certification: No formal certification; the employee will receive a certificate of attendance from Tampa Bay Training. This training is recommended as needed for professional development.

    • Identifying and assessing risks.
    • Developing risk response strategies.
  4. Scheduling and Resource Allocation:
    • Creating project schedules using Gantt charts.
    • Allocating resources effectively.
  5. Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Estimating project costs.
    • Monitoring expenses and managing variances.
  6. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Effective communication within project teams.
    • Engaging stakeholders and managing expectations.
  7. Quality Assurance and Change Management:
    • Ensuring project quality.
    • Handling scope changes and adjustments.

Scheduling

The class is conducted in-person at your specified location, provided there is a minimum of five participants registered. A travel fee may apply, depending on zip code.
