Effective date: July 25, 2026
Tampa Bay Training understands that schedules and operational needs can change. This policy is designed to give customers reasonable options while recognizing the instructor scheduling, travel, materials, digital licenses, and other commitments required to provide training.
Different rules apply to open-enrollment classes, private classes, and self-paced online courses. Review the section that applies to your purchase.

Private training is a dedicated class scheduled for one client organization. Reserving a private class may require instructor scheduling, travel arrangements, materials, equipment, digital licenses, and other client-specific commitments.
The accepted quote, contract, or purchase order controls when it contains specific cancellation and rescheduling terms. When the accepted engagement document is silent, the rules below apply.
- A private class cancellation requested at least **15 calendar days before** the scheduled class is eligible for a refund or cancellation without an instructional cancellation fee.
- The refund will exclude actual nonrecoverable travel, lodging, materials, vendor, or other special costs already committed for that client.
- The seven-participant billing minimum and other terms in the accepted quote remain applicable until an approved cancellation or exchange is confirmed in writing.
- A client that gives at least **three business days' notice** may request one class-date exchange instead of canceling the class.
- The replacement class must normally be completed within **six months** of the original date.
- The replacement date is subject to instructor availability, travel, current pricing, participant requirements, and the applicable course rules.
- Actual nonrecoverable costs caused by the change remain the client's responsibility.
A cancellation or rescheduling request received fewer than three business days before the class, or a client no-show, is not eligible for a refund or class credit unless Tampa Bay Training approves an exception because of an emergency or other unusual circumstance.
Eligible participant substitutions are generally allowed when course prerequisites, provider rules, roster deadlines, and class capacity permit. Contact Cindy as soon as possible with the replacement participant's information.
The seven-participant billing minimum remains applicable when fewer participants attend than the number required or confirmed in the quote. Any final participant-count deadline or price adjustment should be stated in the written quote.
A same-day cancellation, client no-show, or failure to provide agreed facility access, technology, equipment, or other client responsibilities is treated as a late cancellation unless Tampa Bay Training approves an exception.
A written quote may include additional course-specific, provider, travel, material, or scheduling terms. Tampa Bay Training will disclose those terms before the client accepts the quote.

Contact Customer Service About Private Training
Tampa Bay Training currently offers eight HSI OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour self-paced courses. These courses provide individual digital access to training completed on the student's schedule.
A self-paced course purchase is eligible for a refund before Cindy issues the course-access link.
After the course-access link is issued, the purchase is nonrefundable because digital course access has been delivered.
If Tampa Bay Training or the course provider cannot supply working access to the course purchased, Tampa Bay Training will correct the access problem, provide an appropriate replacement, or issue a refund.
Do not purchase a course for one student with the expectation that access can later be transferred to another student. Any transfer request is subject to the provider's rules and written approval.
Future Tampa Bay Training-developed or third-party self-paced programs may have additional access, progress, coaching, resource, academic-integrity, discontinuation, or teach-out terms. Any additional terms must be displayed and accepted before purchase.
Contact Customer Service About Self-Paced Training
Tampa Bay Training intends to conduct an advertised open-enrollment class even when only one participant is registered. TBT may nevertheless cancel, postpone, relocate, or change an instructor or delivery format when necessary because of instructor illness, severe weather, unsafe conditions, credentialing-body direction, facility or technology failure, government order, or another circumstance outside TBT's reasonable control.
If Tampa Bay Training cancels an open-enrollment or private class, the customer may choose:
- A refund of amounts paid for the affected class, or
- Transfer to a mutually acceptable replacement date or available class
Tampa Bay Training will communicate the available options and coordinate the customer's selection.
Unless an accepted agreement states otherwise, Tampa Bay Training is not responsible for a participant's or client's indirect expenses such as wages, travel, lodging, missed work, or consequential loss. Participants should avoid nonrefundable travel arrangements when class status or provider approval is pending.
The following amounts may become nonrefundable once ordered, shipped, accessed, or incurred:
- Printed handbooks, participant packets, and shipping
- Physical credential cards or replacement credentials
- Provider, examination, or licensing fees
- Customized or client-branded materials
- Nonrecoverable payment-platform or registration fees
- Approved travel, lodging, facility, or equipment commitments
Any deduction will be explained as part of the refund decision.
Tampa Bay Training will make a reasonable effort to work with customers affected by severe weather, government operational requirements, emergencies, or other unusual circumstances.
Any exception to the standard policy must be approved by Tampa Bay Training and confirmed in writing. Nonrecoverable travel, lodging, materials, vendor, or other special costs may remain the customer's responsibility.
