OSHA Outreach Training Is Not an OSHA Certification
The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides voluntary education about common workplace safety and health hazards, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and hazard prevention.
Outreach training does not replace training required by specific OSHA standards, and an OSHA course-completion card should not be described as an OSHA certification or license.

Pay online for an HSI self-paced course through Tampa Bay Training Online using card or Apple Pay. Cindy can help you choose a course or arrange an invoice when needed.
After payment is confirmed, Cindy sends the HSI access code and instructions, generally by the next business day, Monday through Friday.

OSHA Course-Completion Cards
Understand Who Issues and Maintains the Record
After participants complete applicable program requirements, eligible students receive an OSHA course-completion card.
Card delivery often takes approximately two weeks, but participants should allow up to four weeks.
For HSI self-paced courses, the online provider is responsible for course records, card issuance and replacement-card questions.
OSHA does not maintain individual Outreach class records. Replacement questions should be directed to the original trainer or online provider.
OSHA states that a replacement card cannot be issued when the training occurred more than five years ago.
OSHA course-completion cards are not certifications.
Employers,

What is OSHA Outreach Training?
OSHA Outreach is a voluntary training program providing workers with basic or more advanced education about workplace safety and health hazards, workers' rights, employer responsibilities and hazard prevention.
What is the difference between OSHA 10 and OSHA 30?
OSHA 10-Hour training is intended primarily for workers. OSHA 30-Hour training is generally more appropriate for supervisors and workers with safety responsibilities.
Does an OSHA card mean I am OSHA certified?
No. OSHA states that Outreach courses are not certifications. Eligible students receive a course-completion card after satisfying applicable requirements.
Does OSHA Outreach training satisfy every OSHA training requirement?
No. Outreach training does not replace training required by specific OSHA standards. Employers must identify the training required for the employee's work and hazards.
Are self-paced OSHA courses available now?
Yes. Tampa Bay Training currently offers HSI self-paced OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour courses for Construction and General Industry in English and Spanish.
Are Spanish OSHA courses available?
Yes. All four HSI self-paced OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Construction and General Industry options are available in both English and Spanish.
Can instructor-led OSHA Construction training be taken live online?
Scheduled Open Enrollment Live Online OSHA Construction classes listed on Eventbrite have class-specific USF OTIEC approval. Private Onsite classes are available. A client-requested Private Live Online class requires separate USF OTIEC approval and written confirmation before it is offered.
How do I register?
Use Eventbrite for scheduled instructor-led open-enrollment classes. Contact Customer Service for private training or self-paced enrollment assistance.
