The OSHA 10-Hour Construction course introduces workers to common construction safety and health hazards. It emphasizes hazard recognition, avoidance, control, and prevention while also addressing workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file an OSHA complaint.
The 10-hour course is primarily intended for entry-level workers and others who need broad construction hazard-awareness training.
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course provides greater depth and a wider range of construction safety and health topics. It is intended primarily for supervisors and workers who have safety responsibilities.
Participants examine hazard recognition and prevention, managing safety and health, the OSHA Focus Four hazards, personal protective equipment, health hazards, and selected construction topics relevant to the group.
Foundations for Safety Leadership is a highly interactive program for frontline leaders. Participants practice leadership skills that can strengthen communication, worker involvement, coaching, recognition, and the safety climate within their teams.
The program was developed by CPWR—The Center for Construction Research and Training—and is approved as an elective topic within the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach course. Tampa Bay Training also offers it as a four-hour standalone course.

Open-enrollment classes are appropriate for individuals and smaller groups. Tampa Bay Training does not cancel an advertised class merely because enrollment is less profitable. OSHA's minimum class-size requirements still apply to OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Outreach classes.
Upcoming classes may be offered onsite at a published location or through live online instruction.
Private training allows an organization to train employees together on an agreed schedule. Classes may be conducted onsite at the client's location or through live online instruction.
Private classes have a seven-participant billing minimum and a maximum of 20 participants. If fewer than seven participants attend, the base training fee is still calculated for seven. OSHA's minimum class-size rules also apply to OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour classes.
Onsite classes may include travel or other approved logistical charges. Cindy Torres will confirm availability, delivery format, participant count, instructional space, technology, travel, and the complete price before the class is scheduled.
Live online classes provide real-time interaction with the instructor and other participants. They are not self-paced recordings.

Live online OSHA Outreach classes are available subject to required advance coordination with our OSHA Training Institute Education Center.
Students who complete the OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour course requirements receive an OSHA student course completion card.
After the class, Tampa Bay Training submits the required documentation and card request through the University of South Florida OSHA Training Institute Education Center. USF sends the cards to Tampa Bay Training, and Tampa Bay Training then distributes them to the client or student. This process typically takes several weeks, although processing and delivery times may vary.
OSHA student course completion cards do not expire. However, an employer, union, jurisdiction, project owner, or contract may require a more recent card or additional training.
The Foundations for Safety Leadership standalone course provides a Tampa Bay Training certificate of completion rather than an OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour card. The TBT certificate does not expire.
OSHA's Outreach Training Program is a voluntary hazard-awareness program. It does not fulfill an employer's obligation to provide training required by a particular OSHA standard. The 10-Hour and 30-Hour courses are not certifications or licenses.
Some employers, unions, jurisdictions, and project owners require an OSHA student course completion card as a condition of employment or site access. Participants and employers are responsible for confirming the requirements that apply to their work.
