The four-hour version introduces the course's essential concepts and includes guided discussion, one primary practical activity and the knowledge check.
The eight-hour version provides greater depth through additional examples, assignments, scenarios, group work and role-play when appropriate. Participants have more time to interpret documents, solve problems and connect the material to workplace practice.
Both versions require attendance, active participation, completion of the practical activity and at least 70% on a 20- to 25-question multiple-choice knowledge check.
Private training brings the instructor to the client's location and allows course examples and activities to reflect the organization's projects, terminology and operating environment.
Private classes have a seven-participant billing minimum and a maximum of 20 participants.
Facility, travel, plan-copying and unusual material requirements are confirmed during scheduling.
Tampa Bay Training may advertise selected onsite classes through Eventbrite. An advertised open-enrollment class will be held even when only one participant registers.

The eight-hour option adds greater interactivity and more time for detailed plan review, project assignments, coordination exercises and workplace application.
Client-supplied plans are preferred when the organization wants project-specific blueprint exercises. The client must have permission to share the plans and should remove confidential, sensitive or security-related information before providing them.
Tampa Bay Training can use sample plans when client plans are unavailable or unsuitable. Before class, the client and instructor confirm whether plan sets will be printed or digital and who will provide the required copies.
Participants who meet the attendance and participation requirements, complete the practical activity and earn at least 70% on the knowledge check receive a Tampa Bay Training certificate of completion showing four or eight instructional hours.
The certificate does not expire. It documents successful course completion but is not a contractor license, professional credential or authorization to provide engineering, architectural or other regulated services.

His background includes municipal and private-sector construction, civil and commercial projects, public infrastructure, construction management, standard operating procedures and blueprint instruction.
