Quick Facts

- Class type: Dedicated to one client organization
- Delivery: Mostly onsite; selected courses available live online
- Service area: Throughout Florida
- Billing minimum: Seven participants
- Standard maximum: 20 participants
- Pricing: Course-specific, per participant
- Travel: Quoted separately for onsite classes when applicable
- Scheduling: Based on instructor availability, location, and travel

A private class may be scheduled for fewer than seven participants, but the client is billed for a minimum of seven. The standard maximum is 20 participants for both onsite and private live-online classes.

Is Private Training Right for Your Organization?

Private training is usually the strongest option when an organization:

- Has seven or more employees who need the same course
- Wants a class dedicated to its workforce
- Needs greater control over the class date and time
- Prefers training at its own facility
- Wants employees to discuss job-specific situations together
- Needs hands-on instruction using the equipment employees operate
- Wants a live instructor who can answer questions in real time
- Has procurement, invoicing, accessibility, or scheduling needs that require personal coordination

Private training may still be arranged for fewer than seven participants when the organization is willing to pay the seven-participant minimum.

When appropriate, Tampa Bay Training can adapt examples, discussion, and emphasis to the client's work environment. Required curriculum, attendance, examinations, skill demonstrations, provider rules, and regulatory requirements cannot be removed or weakened.

When Another Training Path May Be Better

Open enrollment is often more cost-effective for an individual or a small group of two to six that can attend a scheduled class. Self-paced training may be appropriate when an eligible course is available and the learner wants to work independently without live instructor interaction.

Private Training Pricing and Billing

Every private course has its own approved per-person price. The base training fee is calculated using the greater of:

- The number of participants, or
- Seven participants

Base Training Fee Formula

Base training fee = approved per-person course price × the greater of seven or the number of participants

Applicable travel and approved special costs are added separately.

Pricing Examples

For a course priced at $99 per participant:

- Five participants: $99 × 7 = $693 minimum base training fee
- Seven participants: $99 × 7 = $693 base training fee
- Twelve participants: $99 × 12 = $1,188 base training fee

These examples do not include applicable travel, optional handbooks, requested special materials, additional instructors, or other approved costs.

Important Pricing Notes

- The standard maximum is 20 participants.
- Live-online private classes have the same seven-participant billing minimum.
- Live-online classes do not have onsite travel charges.
- Onsite travel charges depend on the location, number of training days, and applicable travel requirements.
- Course length or staffing may need to be adjusted to provide required hands-on practice and individual evaluation.
- Cindy confirms the complete price in writing before the class is scheduled.

Planning for a Successful Onsite or Live-Online Class

The client and Tampa Bay Training should confirm:

- A suitable training room with adequate seating
- Reliable access to the facility and training area
- Parking, security, and check-in instructions
- Appropriate audiovisual equipment and power
- Required participant identification or prerequisites
- Equipment, personal protective equipment, and operating space when applicable

- Accessibility and accommodation needs

Private Live-Online Classes

Each participant needs the course-specific technology, reliable internet access, a working email address, and an appropriate place to participate. Some courses may require a camera, microphone, identification, printed materials, examination controls, or other technology.

Live-online classes are scheduled instructor-led classes. They are not recordings and are not self-paced.

Accessibility and Accommodations

Contact Cindy as early as possible to discuss an accommodation or access need. Early notice gives Tampa Bay Training, the instructor, and the client time to identify reasonable options and prepare accessible materials or arrangements when feasible.

Tampa Bay Training will discuss access options while preserving applicable attendance, examination, skill-performance, qualification, certification, and provider requirements.
