This is the published price for Tampa Bay Training's live, instructor-led OSHA 10-Hour Construction class.
Open or Private
Individuals may register for a scheduled onsite class, including Downtown Tampa Classroom dates, or a class-specific USF OTIEC-approved live-online event. Organizations may request a dedicated Private Onsite class.
OSHA Completion Card
Eligible participants who attend and successfully complete the entire class receive an OSHA student course completion card.
Private Onsite is available: Cindy can coordinate a dedicated class at your location. Scheduled Open Enrollment Live Online classes shown on Eventbrite have class-specific USF OTIEC approval. A client-requested Private Live Online class requires separate USF OTIEC approval and written confirmation before it is offered.

Dedicated Organizational Training
Private Onsite Classes
Schedule a dedicated class at your facility or another approved location. Cindy will confirm the instructor, dates, participant count, facility requirements, travel, and complete written price.
- $200 per participant
- Seven-participant billing minimum
- $1,400 minimum base training fee
- Standard maximum of 20 participants
- Travel and approved special costs are separate
Private billing formula: $200 multiplied by the greater of seven or the actual number of participants. Fewer than seven may attend when the client agrees to pay the seven-participant minimum. Cindy will confirm all pricing and requirements in writing before scheduling.

Important OSHA Outreach Program Information
This Course Is Not an OSHA Certification or License
The OSHA Outreach Training Program is voluntary and provides basic safety and health information. OSHA states that Outreach training does not fulfill an employer's responsibility to provide training required by specific OSHA standards.
An employer, state, municipality, union, project owner, contract, or worksite may require an OSHA 10-Hour card. Confirm the exact course, industry, delivery format, and card requirements with the organization imposing the requirement before enrolling.

OSHA describes the 10-hour class as primarily intended to provide workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards. The 30-hour class is generally more appropriate for supervisors and workers with safety responsibilities.

Choose the correct industry. OSHA 10-Hour Construction is intended for construction work. Employees working primarily in facilities, warehouses, manufacturing, utility operations, or other non-construction environments may need General Industry training instead. The employer or requiring organization should make the final determination.
What the Course Covers
OSHA establishes required topics, elective categories, optional topics, and minimum instructional times. The trainer selects elective and optional topics appropriate to the audience while preserving OSHA's current curriculum requirements.
Required Areas
- Introduction to OSHA, including workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and filing a complaint
- OSHA Focus Four construction hazards:
- Falls
- Electrocution
- Struck-by hazards
- Caught-in or between hazards
- Personal protective and lifesaving equipment
- Health hazards in construction
Representative Elective or Optional Topics
- Materials handling, storage, use, and disposal
- Hand and power tools
- Stairways and ladders
- Scaffolds
- Excavations and trenching
- Cranes, hoists, and related equipment
- Fire protection and prevention
- Motor vehicles, mechanized equipment, signs, and signals
Course scope: The selected elective and optional topics may vary by class. OSHA Outreach emphasizes hazard recognition, avoidance, control, and prevention rather than an exhaustive review of OSHA standards.
Schedule, Attendance, and Completion
Two-Day Minimum
OSHA limits Outreach training to no more than 7.5 student contact hours per calendar day. The 10-hour class must therefore be conducted over at least two calendar days. Meals, breaks, attendance, administrative activities, and optional testing do not count toward the required contact hours.
Full Attendance Is Required
To qualify for an OSHA student course completion card, each participant must attend and successfully complete the entire class, including all required topics and minimum contact hours. Participants should arrive on time and follow all attendance and participation instructions.
OSHA Student Course Completion Card
After the class, Tampa Bay Training submits the required records and card request through the University of South Florida OSHA Training Institute Education Center. Processing and delivery may take several weeks. OSHA requires trainers to issue cards within 90 days after course completion.
OSHA Outreach cards do not expire. However, an employer, union, jurisdiction, project owner, contract, or worksite may require retraining or a recently issued card.
Interim Completion Documentation
Tampa Bay Training may provide interim completion documentation while the OSHA card is being processed. Acceptance of a certificate instead of the student course completion card is determined by the employer, project owner, or worksite.

Is OSHA 10 required?
OSHA does not require Outreach training. A state, municipality, employer, union, project owner, contract, or worksite may require it. Confirm the requirement with the organization imposing it.
Is an OSHA 10 card a certification?

Does the card expire?
